Indian employers are definitely become more aware now a days in order to attract and retain their employees. During recession, they ll rather prefer to retain their talents than to go for fresh hunts.

As in case they r not only tryin to woo the customers but also their employees by bringin out excitin policies, employee benefit schemes. HCL is definitely considered to b a best employer. No doubt about it.

Its quite a surprise that Biocon is not one among them, since it had paved its way into the top 10 best pharma employing company in the world - 2008, where it held the 9th position.

Talk about recession and its solid repercussions even on the employment policies.

Cheers

Kailash, Biocon offlate has been involved in some unethical issues and that might have resulted in it losing out vital points in the race. Well, I am not sure of the unethical issues, but there were some. It might be possible that these unethical issues has resulted in lessening of employee sentiments.

Good to see Hindustan Zinc Limited (Vedanta Resources Group) at No.2.

Thanks for that update Deep. Kinda thought ethics would seldom have an impact on a company's progress.
But I guess it does. Happy to see your company posted at the second position and I am sure with you joining them shortly it wouldn't be long before they reach the top.

And Jazz I'm, as always, looking forward for your posts.

Cheers
